Crowning Monkey proudly presents the New York Premier of Joe: The Perfect Man, an original comedy created by and starring award winning Toronto comedian Rachelle Elie. Directed by “Bouffon King” Adam Lazarus this absurd comedy runs Feb 25 - March 6th as part of The FRIGID New York Festival. JOE: The Perfect Man won an Oustanding Comedy Award at the 2008 Ottawa Fringe Festival.

After losing his job Joe’s passion to play all the lead roles in “The Scottish Play” explodes to the surface. Soon after he stumbles upon a “Macbeth Open Call Audition” and sees it as his one chance to fulfill his destiny. Through ridiculous failures and missed attempts at brilliance he stumbles through the opportunity of a lifetime. A non-stop, uproarious, rollercoaster ride through conformity, rebellion and Macbeth.

“Gorgeous clown-based show packs huge rewards.”
